The mind is very powerful. In order to live life to the fullest and maximize our potential, we need to take an honest look at ourselves to make changes and repairs, emotionally, physically and mentally.

Surrealism is one of my favorite art forms. It is a great way to express yourself and have fun at the same time. Twisting reality and forming a puzzle  asks the viewer to get involved and ask questions.

The last time I painted a self portrait was when I was 8 years old. My parents have it hanging in there hall for all these years.

Well, I competed this seascape painting without painting over it. Added more definition to the waves and highlights which gave more movement. The dramatic sky was left untouched.
In the previous post I spoke about how I start on a project and my hands seam to take over, which leads to a totally different painting. Once the paint hits the canvas it takes on a whole new life. If this happens to you, go with the flow you may be surprised.
